Mauritius will host two workshops of the WTO from 13 to 15 October 2009

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has chosen Mauritius for holding a series of workshops shortly. Among there are the workshop on 'Trade Related Intellectual Property Rights', scheduled from 13 to 15 October. This workshop aims to increase knowledge of WTO policies in relation to commercial aspects of intellectual property rights. The workshop will also improve the ability to interpret the agreement of the intellectual property rights, and to update participants on the status of negotiations on intellectual property rights.
On the other hand, a regional workshop on technical barriers to trade will be held in Mauritius from 12 to 14 May This workshop aims to provide executives of private and public sectors working on the technical barriers.
